If you're reading this, you've probably already looked at the other pages of the main site, but just in case you haven't (or you missed the page that the info is on) I'm back on the radio
This time around there are differences; (not least my age, but we'll take that as a given, until someone invents a time machine anyway) for starters its 100% legal - no more climbing tower blocks at all hours, no more threat of having my music confiscated, etc. - and the other significant change is that (for the moment, at least) its on the Internet
Internet radio in the UK, especially Black (or as others would call them 'Urban') radio, isn't the most popular medium currently. However, other countries (US especially) have been down with Internet radio for a relatively long time and its only a matter of time before the UK catches up... or so the story goes.
Anyway, the station I'm on is called Jam1Online and currently I do two shows a week; Saturday 21:00-00:00 & Sunday 18:00-21:00 UK time (taking daylight saving time into account). The Sunday slot is temporary until they can find someone else to fill it, and I hope that's soon.
I will be doing a Friday night/Saturday morning show (00:00-03:00) as soon as they find someone to do the previous slot, and again I hope that's soon
I've been back on the radio since last October, but I only recently started to record them (see here for info) and, as of last night, I've started to broadcast simultaneously from UStream too. I don't have a web cam - never needed one before - so its just audio at the moment, but when I can get around to it (both in terms of time and money) I'll install one and maybe even broadcast a live (recording) studio session, hmmm...
